Jesus Changed Everything

The Old Testament law reminded mankind that they were not able to meet God’s expectations, not even the Ten Commandments. Mankind was sinners. It is always has been (and is) that way, part of our nature.
This is a bit problem especially when you keep in mind that God is holy. In the Old Testament, God put the utmost importance on His holiness. The idea of “holy” was primarily that of being apart. There was a huge separation between God and man made evident by His majesty, His greatness and His purity.

Catholic Audio Downloads
Posted by: | CommentsDuring the past forty years, Catholics have not been educated in their faith. Many Catholic adults have high school diplomas, bachelors, masters, and even PhD’s in business, science, medicine, etc. But, unfortunately, they have a second or third grade education in their Catholic faith! This is so sad, because when we are ignorant of our Catholic faith and the history behind it, we are vulnerable to having what faith we do have destroyed by someone of equal or greater ignorance, but perhaps greater persuasive powers. In other words, they may have more faith in their error, than we do in our truth. Remember, the Catholic faith contains the fullness of divinely revealed truth! So, what should we do? We should educate ourselves by studying all our adult lives. There are many good Catholic Audio files available on the Internet that you can download and listen to. There are many good Catholic websites available that can offer you solid Catholic teaching, such as Catholic Audio Files, where you can begin to “catch up” on all the Catholic doctrine and history you have missed out on.
Take me, for example. Until I was in my early thirties, I didn’t really know my Catholic faith that well. I thought I did, but when I actually began studying, I discovered I knew very little! In fact, even today, I realize that there is SO much to learn, that I can study all my life and never know it all. I guess that’s why the Pope has his own personal theologian to help him when he does research and study. Yes, the Pope studies the Catholic faith, too!
Some folks learn better by reading, some learn better by hearing. The Bible says that faith comes by hearing the Word of God. That’s why I think audio might be a little better than reading for this sort of thing. That’s why I recommend that you take a little time and download some of the audio (.MP3) files from the site I recommended and similar sites.
If you have an .MP3 player or an iPod, these type files would easily play on it. If you don’t, and have a PC with a CD burner, you can easily create music CD’s with the .MP3 files. You can do like I do and play the CD’s in your car’s CD player on the way to work and back. (I live approximately 67 miles from work, and this is a great time to listen to a good Catholic lecture on some topic or other.) I was especially interested in the talks on personal conversions to Christ and the Catholic Church. I was also interested in the history of the Catholic Church by Steve Kellmeyer. All these audio files are orthodox, i.e., faithful to Catholic teaching. We need to be very careful what we read and to what we listen in this day and age, because there has been a strong attack on the Catholic Church from without AND from within. To be able to discern what is truly Catholic teaching and what is not is of utmost importance. And I believe that the Catholic Audio files are as orthodox as you can find!
God bless!

The Morning Brings A New Opportunity So Hang In There!
Posted by: | CommentsPersistence is an absolute necessity for the person who wants to succeed. I once read, “That by persistence, the snail reached the Ark.” History is filled with examples of people who were told they could never achieve their dreams but who achieved them anyway.
Billy Graham was told by one of his Bible School professors that he would never make a preacher. Billy just kept on preaching. I’m sure that Bill Gates was probably told somewhere along the way that his concoction called a computer would never work, but he just kept on dreaming and scheming.
So dear discouraged friend, just keep on working toward your dream. The fact that it is a dream means you have already seen it. You see it in your mind before you see it in your real field of view. It’s just a matter of time till you see it in real time, if you just keep walking toward it. The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step, then the second, then the third and so forth. If you stop. It’s over. If you keep going, no matter how tough, you will make it.
As a preacher myself who posts free sermons online, I receive a lot of good advice from others who preach. I heard a preacher once deliver a great sermon. At the core of what he shared was this, “You can’t fail, if you don’t quit.” I encourage you not to quit. You may have the towel in your hand ready to toss it. Halt! Don’t do it. Take a shower, use the towel to dry off. Get a good night’s rest. Tomorrow is another day.
Each day is a new opportunity. At the dawn of each new morning, yesterday lies in the past. It is behind you. What is vital is what is before you. You have the power to determine what is before you to a large degree. Your future is shaped by the choices you make today.
Persistence means you are making the right decisions over and over again. When you miss it, admit it. Make it right. Learn to say, “I’m sorry!” Learn to learn from your stumbles, blow ups and mistakes. I share a lot of truths I have learned through my free online bible study offered on sermon seedbed. You have your own list of lessons learned, just be sure to remember those lessons. They can help add to your persistence.
If today is not going well, determine to ride it out. It’s like jumping from a plane, once you have made the jump, you have to go with it till you land. Some days are like that. Do the best you can till you get your feet back under you. Once you survive today, then you can plan for a better tomorrow. Hope is so dynamic. Hope is the gasoline that gives you the power to run the motor of persistence all the way to your dream.
Dear friend, “Do not”, let me say it again, “Do not give up!” You can make it. You can fulfill your destiny. Before you do it, you have to first decide to do it. Once you decide to do it, you keep doing it until your faith becomes sight.

Meditate on God and Law of The Lord Day and Night
Posted by: | Comments“But his delight is in the Law of The Lord and on it he meditates day and night” (Psalms1:2)
What do you meditate on?
What do you really like?
What do you delight in?
What really gets you excited?
The spaces indicate a pause. Pause to really consider what is it that is really important to you. You do not need much time. If it is important to you then you have been thinking about it already. We do think on, wish for, dream about, study, plan or even meditate on what is important to us. The real question is did you say Law of The Lord? Are you preoccupied with doing what God desires you to do.
We call ourselves Christians. We say we are Disciples of Christ. We claim Jesus Christ as our lord and master. Yet are we consumed day and night thinking about what he would have us do?
Have you prayed the Lord’s Prayer recently. Have you said to God; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. What has been your prayer recently? Do you pray for health, wealth, happiness, peace or what is your prayer.
Not many of us pray that we can be obedient to your word or that your will be done. Not many of us pray every day that we might decrease so that God might increase. But what ever we pray continuously about is what we meditate on.
Maybe we do not meditate on His Law day and night, but is His Law hidden within our hearts? It is important that His Law is a lamp unto our feet, guiding our path in righteousness. The truth is when His Law is hidden it does not always show itself when we need it. The only way we can be assured that we follow God’s Law and His Will is to meditate on it day and night.
Obedience is better than sacrifice. But being a Christian is more than just being obedient to the Law of God. We must have a intimate, personal relationship with God. To have a relationship with anyone is to know that person. One way to know God is to meditate on God.
Meditate on the great things He has done. Think about on His love, mercy, grace, patience, faithfulness, etc.
Meditate even of His justice and judgment. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.”
Then Meditate more about the benefits of having a relationship with God. Meditate on being a child of God, called, chosen, sanctified and separated.
If you ever choose to fast seeking a closer (relationship with God), that is an especially important time to retreat into a wilderness, ignoring all the cares of the world and meditating on God and His Law. As Jesus said, we should “seek first His Kingdom and His Righteousness…” That makes meditating on God and (His Law) a first priority in our lives. Not only during a fast. But, especially during a fast. The fast is a wilderness experience where its soul purpose is to focus or meditate on God, the object of our fast and prayer.
Finally, Meditate on His Will for your lives. Know that God has a plan for you. A plan to prosper you not to harm you. His plan for you is not found in fulfilling your own selfish desires. His plan may not call for us accomplishing all that we want to accomplish. His plan for you is all about kingdom building. His plan for our lives is that His Will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. The gifts, abilities and talents God gives us are for us to share with our brothers and sisters. Our Gifts are to make disciples for Christ, baptizing them in the name of the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit, and teach them to obey everything that Jesus commanded us. The head is to lead, the arm is for lifting, the eyes are for seeing, ears for hearing and feet for walking. No part greater than another. No part only serving its selfish desires. But all make a united body doing the Will of its Master.
Who is your master?
What do you meditate on Day and Night?
That is your God!
“Lord, may the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable to you..” (Psalms 19:14)

Christian Tours to Israel
Posted by: | CommentsI am lost and confused. I have been like this since the death of my fiancee three years ago. She died on a car crash. I was behind the wheel. I have been waking up and going to sleep with guilt all these years despite her parents and everyone around telling me that they do not blame me for anything. They say things happen for a reason, no matter how unclear the reason is. I questioned God for the purpose of her death over and over. But now, I am tired. I need Christ back into my life. I decided to join a Christian tour of Israel to find Jesus again, or for Jesus to find me. Maybe walking around the Holy Land would save me from myself.
Free Helpful Tips About Religious Literature
Posted by: | CommentsSCIENTIFIC PROOF THAT (GOD THE HOLY) SPIRIT EXISTS BY SIMON RICHARD LEE
ABOUT THE BOOK
Scientific Proof that (God the Holy) Spirit Exists is a brilliant mixture of both religious and scientific writing. It is developed in three parts, in a clear and discursive way.
In the first part, a fascinating theory about Spiritual Energy is provided. The starting point is that Spiritual Energy =mc2, just like physical energy. Its ‘sevenfold nature’ in the Bible and other Holy Books, occurs in trees, fountains and cubes. The Sevenfold ‘Holy’ Spirit of God exactly occupies the ‘extra seven dimensions of the Universe’ of the latest “string theories” of science.
He produces at least eight equally fascinating scientific theories about Spirit, comprising overall his (natural) science of the Holy Spirit.
These theories may all be verified in 2009 if the new Large Hadron Accelerator at CERN, Geneva detects that there are more than three dimensions of space.
In the second part, Simon Lee makes his own very special translation of some chapters of the Holy Books, commenting on them in a stimulating and personal way.
In the third part the problems related to the cashless system are explained.
The very last part of the book handles a new theory of – and cures for – all mental illnesses. In his fresh but rigorous style, the author proposes two new non chemical therapies.
This book is a journey into different worlds, where (natural) science and religion meet and walk side by side.
AUTHOR’s COMMENTS: – “This book is a complete self contained system”
“This revolutionary, challenging online book is powerful, very powerful reading, about life at this start of the 21st Century – with science, natural science, science and technology and the overall philosophy of science – “scientifici” – having this century seemed to very much overshadow – even disenfranchise – the bible, other Holy Books, religion, faith and spirituality. It is then about society, religion and spirituality, and so comes under the ‘religion & spirituality’ shopping category.
Kids talk about God existing or not, and what ‘They’ are like, while atheists demand scientific proof of God’s existence. In this hell raiser of a year of 2009 of an ever looming Second Great Depression, if it is not already here; the eyes of truth say that the Book of Revelation is quite right. As discussed in my own book, 7th Heaven will only come, once God (or is it US?) finally decides it is time to actually abolish ‘the root of all evil’ – money itself, and we all turn to live in a new heavenly society where everything is free – within reason. Indeed heavenly – 7th Heaven!
This radical new ‘the eyes of truth’ approach will definitely appeal to atheists and atheism as it is a spiritual, christian based employment of christianity and its history, and my own extensive but rather ‘alternative’ bible studys and studies.
These will be of particular appeal to USA Christians – the USA Body of Christ – Jesus – that is more deeply far-thinking about science and technology in relation to religion and faith – perhaps than people elsewhere. It used to be that books were the lingua franca but we are at the end of a first decade where they have fallen foul of computers and this Internet bug!
Evolutionary theory can easily be disproved. Nothing caused the incredibly complex constituents of cells to evolve to be that way – they must have been created spontaneously – this ‘principle of irreducible complexity’ is normally cited along with ‘intelligent design’ and the ‘anthropic principle’ as 3 main ways to prove God exists.
My own book goes further. My own book goes the whole hog of metaphysics, and ’system analyses’ the Mind and Holy Spirit of God in a ’scientifici’ way that will appeal even to ’scientifici’.
It argues that the Book of Revelation up to chapter 11 as well as the books of Daniel and 2 Esdras (the so-called Apocalyptic books of the Bible) are all precisely about modern science of the last two centuries. We find ourselves in a ‘Heaven666′ world as in those books, which my own book explores in great depth.
A ‘Heaven overshadowed by 666′ or ‘Heaven 666′ world. Where since 11th September 2001, Heaven seems remote compared to Big Brother of George Orwell’s ‘1984′ – dwarfed by a ‘666′ extent of control that has crept up on everybody with nobody excluded, in the name of ‘Security’ and ‘the War on Terrorism’ – backed by massive ‘Technology’.
My own book ends with tackling the serious modern plagues of domination by money or rather now the total lack of enough, over complex lives with too many choices to stay sane, and so mental illness. It offers tangible solutions to all of these. So overall its aim is to be a ‘the eyes of truth’ – at all costs – book.”

How to Lead Cell Group
Posted by: | CommentsBible study Cell groups are essential part of christian community. Today, almost every church has its small groups. However, it is not at all a newly found concept. Jesus himself had his own small group of 12 people And although he had much larger community of followers, he invested majority of time and efforts in the lives of these few people.
Leading small groups can be one of the most rewardingexperience of your christian life. You can really impact your group members. Small group setting provides safer and much intimate environment for Christian fellowship and friendship. Today, we are going to discuss principles to effectively leading small group bible study. You may be leading students, married couples, men, women, teenagers, youth, or any age group, these suggestions can be used. So, here are some of the suggestions for leading a group.
Know your audience. You must know your group members. Introduce new visitors.
Select the topic. According to your group, you can select the subject . Try to maintain the continuity.
Prepare questions and possible answers for the passage. You must have possible answers ready in your mind. Use other resources like Bible dictionary , if you need to. Keeping notes is one of the most useful practice you can have, it can be helpful in future as well.
Adopt your own style. Don’t imitate anybody’s style, have your own style of leading.
Ask questions, if the group do not understand, rephrase the question, don’t try to explain everything.
Remember, you are bible study leader, not a preacher. Your goal is to let others talk and share!
Encourage the quiet one, their silence do not mean non-participation. Also, try to manage the dominant members.
If you don’t know the answer of any particular question, honestly admit it. Find the answers and share it next time. Remember, we are all here to learn.
Keep the eye contact. Don’t just concentrate on few members. Occasionally, ask questions to individual.
If the discussion goes side tracked by some question, bring the group back to the main idea. (Use your judgment, if there is an important issue, continue the discussion.)
Appreciate good explanations. Everyone likes appreciation.
Be creative, visualize the picture in the passage. Use contemporary examples. Use maps, whiteboards, games, etc.
Begin and End on time. 25-30 minutes of bible study is perfect. Sometimes, the faces of the members can tell you that its time to wrap up!!! If there is some important theological discussion going on, you can conclude bible study, but continue the discussion, so that those who need to leave can go.
Have conclusion in mind. Spend good amount of time in applying the word. Encourage your group.
I hope that these practical suggestions can help you to effectively lead your bible study group .

The Unique Calibration of Persons
Posted by: | Comments“Calibration – a set of graduations to indicate values or positions.”
“TheSpirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God” (Romans 8:16).
When Paul spoke of the Spirit with a capital “S” (in the King James) most would recognize that he is speaking of the Holy Spirit. However what did he mean by “…our spirit…” with a small “s”? He was talking about the spirit in man (Job 32:8), which is a neutral spirit that gives us the ability to function in our daily life. The spirit in man (in humans) gives us the ability to talk, work, play, think, reason, react, reflect, and question. The brain is our hardware, the bi-polar neurons, which are physical. The spirit is our software (programming). The mind is our memory, will and operating system. Without both the brain and the spirit, the mind would be non-functional.
Many in today’s society have heard of the so-called fall of man. The idea is: Adam fell. There was a wonderful garden and a great life. But the snake got into the garden and ruined God’s plans. And everything fell apart. And man fell.
But is that really what happened? It doesn’t make sense, does it? The idea pretends that Satan is on a power level equal to or close to that of God.
What really happened? It was not the fall of man. It was the calibration of man. Man had to be registered at the level he would ordinarily drift to, based upon his choices.
“…the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who has subjected the same in hope” (Romans 8:20).
The Lamb, who is Christ (1 Peter 1:19), was considered as having been slain from the foundation of the world (Revelation 13:8). Therefore it was known that Christ would have to die to redeem sinners long before Adam executed the first transgression.
The line of logic is important in this matter, in order that we may not miss the purpose for which we exist.
Ask the worst question first. Does the Father want us to fail? No.
“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9).
We can further conclude that our success in becoming his children is so very important that he endured the excruciating experience of seeing his Son killed on our behalf (John 3:16).
Man had to be registered at the level that he would ordinarily drift to, based on his choices. He would then graduate to positions based on the values inherited from the Father.
Why didn’t God prevent Adam from sinning? This is the key issue. Adam (and all humankind) has to have freedom of choice. That freedom includes the freedom to choose the evil way. The children of God are not going to be an army of robots. They will be creatures who have sinned, suffered, and repented and have accepted the sacrifice of the Son in order to be reconciled to the Father (Romans 5:10). The Father has the power to bring everything together to make it work perfectly.
“…all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).
The idea that man fell and that salvation is a repair job to restore man back to a previous level, is in error. Man was calibrated and salvation will result in promotion to a condition far greater than has ever been experienced by humans.
Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, neither has it entered into the center of the mind of man the things that God has prepared for those that love him (Isaiah 64:4 and 1 Corinthians 2:9).
Wily Elder, CBA, CMI
For the alternative knowledge and what is chakra topic – please watch this video guide.
Contrary to the popular Hollywood formulas, God and Satan are not on a soul-collecting contest to see who can collect the most souls. If such a thing had been the case, a person might conclude that Satan is more powerful because he appears to have collected exponentially more souls than God. In order to understand this, you have to start to think outside the box. To get it right, we will refer to the handbook for life, the Bible.
There are three requirements if you would like to be on Christ’s headquarters team. It is summed up in three words: called, chosen, and faithful (Revelation 17:14).
The part of being called is the Father’s activity of giving us salvation as a free gift (Ephesians 2:8). No one can come to Christ unless the Father calls (draws) him (John 6:44). Salvation is a gift that can be kept or thrown away. If we look at today’s world and the world of the past 6000 years we have to conclude that only a moderate percent of the world’s population (both present and past) are called. This is according to God’s plan. He wants us to select good in spite of the fact it is not popular in this evil society.
People coming into the genuine knowledge of God are compared to harvests. There are two harvests: the small Spring harvest which is tiny and the large main harvest in the fall which is huge. The first-fruits are harvested first because they are the first to receive adoption (son-ship and daughter-ship) from the Father (Romans 8:23). The calling is not the only part that cuts down the percent of the population. The choosing also cuts down the percent even more. Many are called but few chosen (Matthew 20:16). And, of course, being faithful to the end is a requirement that cuts down the percent even more (Matthew 10:22). Who chooses? Christ does!
“You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you. And ordained you…” (John 15:16).
Jesus is the only name under heaven whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:10-12).
How can you know if the Messiah has chosen you? The first component of that step is in becoming a disciple of Christ. How do you know you have become a disciple of Christ? It’s simple. Check to see if you have love for others.
“By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another” (John 13:35).
We have to love everybody, even our enemies!
“But I say unto you which hear, love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you” (John 6:27-28).
This does not mean: be a chump. We live in a very hostile world. Don’t hate people. If they have done you wrong, don’t let them get by with doing you wrong again. Christ said we should turn the other cheek. The word “cheek” however, is singular not plural. Christ does not want us to become door mats. But he doesn’t want us to hate either. If you can love your enemies, then you, in essence, have no enemies. The process of having no enemies is the doorway through which you become a disciple of Christ.
The truth about the plan of God is so much more than most have ever imagined. It is important to see past the hype of commercial religion. Now, you know that the Father calls you and Christ, his Son, chooses you. The third step is in being faithful. That is your part. Don’t get sidetracked like so many billions have been. In being faithful, there are two basic types of faith, there is a dead faith and a live faith. Faith without works is a dead faith (James 2:26). Works are expected.
So what happens to the billions who have lived and died and never even heard the name Jesus Christ? They are simply not being called at this time.
When Christ returns to this planet the dead in Christ will rise first (1 Thessalonians 4:16). This is the first resurrection. These will be resurrected into bodies that do not die (1 Corinthians 15:52-53). These are the first fruits. What about the second resurrection?
The main harvest will come over 1000 years later, after the 1000 years of peace. The billions who never had a real chance for salvation will be in the second resurrection. This will be a resurrection back into physical bodies. This is exemplified by the valley of dry bones (Ezekiel chapter 37). This will be a time of judgment for them. If they accept the sacrifice of Christ and become faithful they will also be given eternal life and bodies that do not die. However, if they reject Christ and salvation they will be burned up in the lake of fire in the second death from which there is no resurrection (Revelation 20:11-14). Everyone who has knowledge of the truth should strive to be in the first resurrection, which causes the second death to have no power over them (Revelation 20:6).
“…he that overcomes and keeps my words unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations” (Revelation 2:26).
